IS Y&M RIGHT FOR ME?
Q. Is Y&M for me?
A. Y&M is a profound experience for young people ages 15 to 25+. If you are unsure of where you are headed or what you want your life to be, if you want to maximize your time, money and relationships, at Y&M, you’ll find guidance and life skills you can use. Y&M is two days of interesting and powerful learning – but you won’t be stuck in a classroom writing notes and taking tests. Y&M is unlike anything you’ve experienced before. Interactive and fun, you’ll be learning with – and from – people you can relate to.

Q. Am I too old to Attend Y&M? Am I too young? Will I meet other people in my age range?
A. Your entire Y&M experience will be with a group of new friends close to your own age. Participants ranging from ages 15 to 25+ have been transformed by the Y&M experience.
Q. Will my parent/guardian be attending the Y&M sessions with me?
A. The Y&M workshop is exclusive to registered participants. If you traveled to Y&M with an adult or guardian who will be in Scottsdale for an event, you’ll be able to share what you’ve learned at the end of each day.

THE Y&M EXPERIENCE
Q. What is the schedule once I arrive?

Q. How big are the classes?
A. Each Y&M experience is unique. Past workshops have hosted up to 150 people. In order to keep the atmosphere more intimate, we divide participants into smaller groups of eight to 10, based on age. Each group is assigned a leader to mentor them through the program.
Q. I noticed from the agenda that we have the opportunity to meet mentors throughout the weekend. Who are these mentors?
A. Y&M mentors have expertise in a broad range of industries, and are chosen not only for their career successes, but also for their knack for leading and motivating young people. You will spend time with mentors from the fields of financial planning, advertising, public relations, law, medicine, politics, business and more. Q. Will I get any one-on-one time with the Y&M group leaders?
A. Group leaders are here for you, and are available after sessions and during breaks to answer your questions and provide guidance. You will also be provided with their contact information so that you can continue your experience after the event concludes.
REGISTRATION
Q. When do I need to register?
A.Young&Motivated can sell out very quickly. It is highly recommended that you register as soon as possible to avoid being put on a wait list. Check your schedule with the Y&M workshop dates as soon as you can, and see which workshop will work best for you.
Q. Once I am registered, what happens next?
A. Be sure to fill out and send us your Y&M Profile and Consent forms. They only take a few minutes to complete, and they must be submitted before your arrival. The signed consent form may be faxed to us at 805.880.0366.
TRAVEL
Q. Am I responsible for making my own travel arrangements?
A. Yes. If you are coming from out of state, you should fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Plan on arriving the evening before your workshop is scheduled to begin. The second day concludes at 5:00 p.m. Scottsdale Center for Dentistry is approximately 30 minutes from the airport.
Q. Can you recommend a hotel close to Scottsdale Center?
A. There are several excellent resort properties in close proximity. The closest are the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess and Xona Resort Suites. Both offer preferred rates and provide free shuttle service to and from Scottsdale Center.
Q. Do I need to bring anything with me to Y&M?
A. Just bring yourself and an open mind, and be ready to learn and change your life!
